If you ever go to Lisbon, you can’t skip A Cevicheria, the coolest fish restaurant founded by Chef Kiko. On his trips he was inspired by the popular Peruvian raw-fish dish and while mixing it with Asian flavours A Cevicheria was born.

We had the unforgettable experience of having lunch at A Cevicheria.
This restaurant doesn’t take reservations so at arrival (at 14.00 hours), Isabel the bouncer, asked us to wait for a table for 45 minutes. So we went for a walk in the Principe Real area and came back right on time for the table. It was worth the wait!
First of all we enjoyed the pisco sour, a fresh-sour lemon drink from Peru and Chile. After this we chose the six course tasting menu.
We loved the green gazpacho, with green apple, scallops and celery, very original and tasteful. We were delighted by the dishes, presented to perfection, the ingredients selected with care and we just adored the well-decorated ambiance.
We accompanied the lunch with A Cevicheria’s house wine. A blend of Portugese grapes that very much suited the different fish dishes.
Don’t miss it on your trip to Lisbon. The best time of day to go there would be for a late lunch (around 16.00 – 16.30) so you won’t have to wait for a table. Check it out and let me know what you think!
